Thomas Bender currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Commercial Officer at RIEDEL Networks, and as SPP Ambassador for The Sustainable Procurement Pledge. With extensive experience in procurement, Bender held the position of Head of Procurement at Glasfaser Direkt GmbH, where significant procurement processes and an ERP system were established. Prior to that, Bender managed procurement operations for BT in Germany and Austria, overseeing substantial budgets and teams, achieving notable cost reductions and efficiency improvements. Benderā€™s career began at Deutsche Telekom, where multiple roles in service operations were held. Educational qualifications include MCIPS from The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply and a Master Craftsman in Telecommunication.
