Arlene Hayes is an experienced educator with a diverse background in theatre arts and career and technical education. Currently serving as an instructor at Rich Township High School District 227 since December 2020, Arlene has also been a teacher at Thornton Township - High School District 205 since August 2012, specializing in subjects such as Theatre Arts, Speech, Engineering, and Video Editing. Additionally, Arlene has held positions as Technical Theater Director and Assistant Drama Director at Rich Township - High School District 227 since August 2009. Prior experience includes teaching at Thornwood High School from January 2002 to December 2020, where responsibilities included Drama Director and Robotics Coach. Arlene holds a Master's Degree in Theatre from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering Technology/Education from Chicago State University.
