Nerys Royal is a seasoned tourism and events professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the cultural and tourism sectors. Currently serving as a Tourism Advisor at Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council since December 2020, Nerys previously held positions such as General Manager at The Royal Mint Experience and Visitor Experience Manager & Acting General Manager at the National Trust. Nerys also has a solid background in event management, having worked as Events & Operations Manager at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and as an Events Executive at the Wales Millennium Centre. Nerys holds a BA Hons in Events Management & Tourism Marketing from London Metropolitan University.
