Deven Shaff has extensive experience in public service and the arts, currently serving as a Councilmember for Ward 3 in the City and County of Broomfield since November 2017, with re-election in 2021. Prior to this role, Deven worked as a Research Fellow at the Conference on World Affairs in 2015, focusing on data collection and strategic planning. From 2011 to 2015, Deven held multiple leadership roles at The Dairy Center for the Arts, including Director of Programs and Operations, overseeing programmatic and operational aspects. At Central City Opera from 2008 to 2011, Deven coordinated education and community programs, managing logistics for performers and collaborating on grant applications. Deven also contributed as a Production Coordinator at Opera Fort Collins in 2008. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Music - Vocal Performance from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from The College of Idaho.
