Michael Shapiro has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michael most recently worked as the Vice President of Operations at Restaurant Associates from June 2023, where they held various roles including Regional Director of Operations and General Manager at ViacomCBS. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Director at The Brooklyn Diner - Fireman Hospitality Group from March 2012 to February 2013. Michael also worked at Esquared Hospitality as a General Manager and Assistant General Manager from May 2011 to February 2012. Before that, they had roles at Culinary Concepts by Jean-Georges and Napa Valley Grille as an Assistant General Manager. Additionally, they gained experience at Buca di Beppo as an Assistant General Manager and at The Center For Client Retention as a Strategic Management Advisor. Overall, Michael has demonstrated a strong track record in various leadership positions across the hospitality industry.
