Hussein Mohammed Ba Ashen has held multiple roles in the IT industry since 2017. In 2017, they were an Electrical Engineer Intern at Advance Builders Contracting, where they supervised a site project in Jeddah, Saudia Arabia for 5 months. In 2019, they were a QA Analyst at R Systems, where they developed Test Plans, created Test Cases, executed Test Cases and raised bugs through either Gitlab or Jira, created and edited Json files for languages, and tested mobility app, support centre, admin portal, and website. In 2020, they held two roles: Freelance Writer at Dev Genius, where they published about 42 blogs/articles focusing on QA technologies, tools and software, and wrote about their experiences and knowledge to teach about Quality Assurance and its wide aspects of technologies in the IT industries, and Freelance QA Engineer, where they tailored automated Selenium tests for Chrome and Firefox in Java with 100% accuracy, conducted automated tests on 10 software projects using automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Postman, and Jmeter, and supervised manual tests on 10 clients' newly developed websites. Currently, they are a QA Automation Engineer at respond.io, where they are designing and executing platform-wide test plans and test cases for automation framework using Cypress, conducting manual regression testing on product hotfixes and newly integrated releases, and planning, creating, and implementing test cases for API automation using Postman API for the platform modules.

Hussein Mohammed Ba Ashen completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS between 2013 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma from Al Dura International School (GEMS) between 2000 and 2010. In addition, they have obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, Udacity, and TestDome since 2020.
