Glen Behrend is an experienced Senior Project Manager at Resource Environmental Solutions LLC, specializing in the restoration of streams and wetlands through flood mitigation and green infrastructure stormwater practices since March 2022. Prior to this role, Glen served as Civil Engineering Manager for the City of Atlanta's Department of Watershed Management, focusing on implementing low impact development stormwater solutions from October 2017 to March 2022. Glen's extensive career began at the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, where roles included Manager for NonPoint Source Program, Interim Manager for Industrial Wastewater Permitting, Manager for Water Quality Monitoring, and Technical Manager for the Georgia State-wide Water Plan, contributing significantly to water resource management and regulatory compliance in Georgia. Glen holds a Master’s degree in Systems Ecology from the University of Florida and two Bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Engineering from Mercer University.
