Tom Coombs has a wealth of work experience in engineering roles. Tom started their career at Pratt & Whitney in 1984 as an Engineer and worked there until 1988. Tom then joined System Planning Corporation as a Principal Engineer and worked there for a decade before starting their own company, Quarterbranch Technologies, Inc., in 1998, where they served as the Owner until 2022. In 2022, Tom joined Resonant Sciences LLC as the Chief Engineer.

Tom Coombs obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University. Tom completed their studies in the field from 1982 to 1984.
