Andreas Reich has worked in the tech industry since 2011. 👨â€ðŸ’» Andreas began their career as an Intern at Exozet in 2011 and then moved on to become an Academic Assistant at the Otto von Guericke University, Institute for Simulation and Graphics. In 2013, they worked as an Intern at Havok, where they worked on many aspects of the Havok Vision game engine, including graphics programming for PC, consoles and mobile devices. 👨â€ðŸ’» Andreas developed a fast and easy to use particle lighting system for PC and mobile. From 2015-2017, they worked at Microsoft as a Software Engineer II and then a Software Engineer. In 2017, they moved to Unity, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Lead Developer. 👨â€ðŸ’» Andreas was the lead of a newly formed Platform Core team with team size varying from 4-7 people over time and focused on expanding and integrating x-platform base library, timing, file io, socket/RIO network, threads, sync primitives, etc. as well as a system for device discovery and fast app deployment and build system support. In 2022, they began working at rerun.io as a Software Engineer.
Andreas Reich obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computational Visualistics from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg from 2010 to 2014. 👨â€ðŸ’» Andreas then went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Computational Visualistics from the same university from 2014 to 2015.
