Michail Romaios is a highly skilled technical professional with extensive experience in search engineering and backend development across various industries. Currently serving as a Search Engineer at Kaufland e-commerce since September 2023, Michail employs technologies such as Elasticsearch, Node.js, and Python. Previously, as a Senior Search Scientist at Cookpad from May 2021 to July 2023, Michail contributed to enhancing backend search functionality for a global audience. Experience at Atypon from September 2016 to May 2021 included roles as a Backend Engineer and Machine Learning Engineer, focusing on search/indexing frameworks and recommendations systems. Michail's career began at Nokia, working on telecommunications software, and includes earlier roles in IT support in the Hellenic Air Force and a video content editing internship.
