David Lane

David Lane has a diverse work experience in various companies. David is currently working as the Vice President of Risk Management, Internal Audit, Asset Protection, and Spend and Expense Management at Upbound Group since February 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at Rent-A-Center starting from May 2022. In Rent-A-Center, they also served as the Executive Director of Internal Audit, Asset Protection, Spend Management, and Expense Management from March 2019 to May 2022. David was the Senior Director of Sourcing from February 2015 to March 2019 and the Director of Spend Management from May 2010 to March 2015, where they focused on strategic sourcing and stakeholder engagement.

Before their tenure at Rent-A-Center, David Lane worked at Hewlett-Packard as the Global Hardware Category Manager from August 2008 to April 2010 and the Global IT Hardware Sourcing Manager from January 2007 to August 2008. David also has experience as the Global Strategic Sourcing Manager at Lennox International from 2001 to 2006.

David Lane attended The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting.
