Toby Coates has extensive work experience in various roles within the development and project management field. Toby is currently serving as a Senior Development Project Manager at RES since April 2022. Prior to this, Toby worked as a Development Project Manager at RES Australia Pty Ltd from August 2019 to April 2022. Before that, they held the position of Project Manager at Autonomous Energy from March 2018 to August 2019. Toby also worked as a Quantity Surveyor at Iconic where they were responsible for project design, procurement, and contracts administration. Toby was associated with Iconic from September 2016 to September 2017. Toby's earlier experiences include roles at Willoughby City Council as a Property Operations & Assets Coordinator and Property Assets & Sustainable Works Officer from July 2014 to July 2016, as well as roles at Cundall as an ESD Consultant from January 2012 to September 2013, Aurecon as an ESD Consultant from November 2010 to December 2011, and Soma Power/Sunrise Solar as a Field Assistant from November 2009 to November 2010.

Toby Coates completed their Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy Engineering from UNSW from 2008 to 2012. Toby then pursued further studies and obtained a Master's degree in Construction Project Management from UNSW from 2014 to 2016.
