Emran Hossain is an Electrical Engineer currently employed at Renco S.p.A. since September 2023, specializing in the service and repair of Wartsila 18V32 marine engines with ABB alternators and working with electrical control systems. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Assistant Engineer in Electrical Maintenance at United Engineering And Power Services Ltd. from June 2018 to September 2023, where responsibilities included planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules and promptly responding to breakdowns to minimize production downtime. Emran also held roles as an Assistant Engineer and Electrical Project Engineer at United Group, where skills in electrical/mechanical equipment installation and project reporting were developed, and as a Trainee Engineer at Samah Razor Blades Industries Limited, focusing on electrical maintenance and monitoring. Emran holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (2011-2015) and has completed several industrial training programs, including a Power Plant Electrification Course with Wartsila in 2019.
