From 2016 to 2020, Josh Soff worked as a Network Technician at LTI Information Technology. Josh then moved on to Tufts Medical Center in 2021, where they worked as a Desktop Analyst until March 2022, and then as a Sr. Desktop Engineer until September 2022. In 2022, they joined Ropes & Gray LLP as a Desktop Engineer II and worked there until March 2023. Currently, they are working at New England Network Solutions as a Field Engineer II, starting in May 2023.

Josh Soff began their education in 1996 at Blissfield High School, where they completed their General Studies. Josh obtained their Diploma of Education in 2000. Additionally, in 2018, Josh obtained certifications in "Linux: Files and Permissions" and "Learning Linux Command Line" from LinkedIn.
