Kiko Martinez serves as the Director of Communications at the Cybersecurity Manufacturing Innovation Institute since May 2023. With extensive experience in writing and communications, Kiko has contributed as a writer for Remezcla, San Antonio Current, and mySanAntonio.com since 2014, 2004, and 2021 respectively. Previous roles include Associate Editor at PayrollOrg, Director of Public Relations and Communications at the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, Digital Media Manager at the Southwest School of Art, and Marketing and Public Relations Manager at Providence Place-San Antonio. Kiko began a career in journalism as an Entertainment Editor and Reporter for La Prensa Newspaper. Kiko holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts with a focus on Journalism from Our Lady of the Lake University, completed in 2003.
