Ali M.

Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis at Reliance Matrix

Ali M. has over 9 years of work experience. They began their career as a Chief Executive Officer for the MAcc Program Student Association (MPSA), where they organized networking and community events for students in Penn State's Masters of Accounting program. Later, they served as an Accounting 211 Recitation Leader at Penn State University, instructing weekly accounting classes and providing additional learning support.

Following that, Ali joined Deloitte as a Senior Audit Consultant, where they provided analytic support and contributed to the quality and accuracy of financial statements for large accelerated SEC filers.

Currently, Ali is working at Reliance Matrix, where they have held multiple roles. They started as a Director of Financial Operations, overseeing financial activities within the company. They then progressed to Assistant Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis, responsible for financial planning and analysis. More recently, Ali has been serving as the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis, leading teams in driving revenue, reducing costs, and optimizing financial operations. They have managed P/Ls exceeding $2B and directed acquisitions and divestitures worth $250M. Additionally, they have orchestrated an annual budget of approximately $500M and directed long-term IT capital investments exceeding $130M.

Ali M. completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance at Saint Joseph's University from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, Ali obtained a Masters in Accounting, a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, and minors in Legal Environment of Business and Management Information Systems from Penn State University between 2008 and 2012. Ali has also earned the CPA certification from the Department of State Pennsylvania in 2014 and holds a Series 65 certification from FINRA.
