Prior to that, they were a Fulbright Student Scholar and Quadrille-Mobay Fellow at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in 1982, specializing in Chemistry. Ronald L. completed their undergraduate studies at Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1981, earning a B.S. in Chemistry with ACS certification.
