Sheldon Racz is an experienced facilities management professional currently serving as Manager of Facilities Services for the Regional District of Nanaimo since August 2021. Prior to this role, Sheldon held various managerial positions at Rocky View County from September 2007 to August 2021, including Operational Services Manager, where responsibilities encompassed facilities maintenance, fleet services, and cemetery operations. Sheldon also worked as Manager of Corporate Properties, overseeing a diverse portfolio of properties and holding the Health and Safety portfolio. Further experience includes roles as Team Lead for Corporate Properties, Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, and Facilities Coordinator at Rocky View County, as well as Security and Services Coordinator at Calgary Laboratory Services from May 1997 to September 2007. Sheldon holds an Applied Management degree from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and has completed Incident Command System training.
