Sean Shirvani, MD MPH, currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of Clinical and Medical Affairs at RefleXion Medical, a position held since August 2018. Prior to this, Sean held significant roles at MD Anderson Cancer Center, including Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Radiation Oncology, where research focused on thoracic and breast malignancies, stereotactic techniques, and health economics. Sean also contributed to Banner Health as the Physician Chair for the BHN Oncology High Value Network, where leadership in designing alternative payment models for oncology care was demonstrated. During time at Banner Health, Sean established a clinical vision that significantly improved referral rates. Sean's foundational medical training includes a Doctor of Medicine from Duke University School of Medicine, a Master of Public Health from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and Philosophy from Rice University.
