David Perini has an extensive work experience in various positions related to product development, design, and web development. David is currently the Director of Product at Red Rover, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at CurrentDesk from 2018 to 2022, where they held the position of Head of Product Development. At CurrentDesk, they were responsible for establishing a formal software development lifecycle, hiring engineers, and building an Agile-based culture of iterative development.

Before their role at CurrentDesk, David worked at Frontline Education from 2012 to 2018, where they held multiple positions. David started as a Lead User Experience Designer and played a crucial role in incorporating design activities into the software lifecycle and advocating for a user-centered design approach. David then became the User Experience Architect, where they grew the product design team and introduced user research and testing, establishing a unified design system for newly-acquired products. Finally, they became the Director of Product Design, re-structuring the design operations and tying the effectiveness of design artifacts to their business value.

Prior to Frontline Education, David worked at eBay from 2009 to 2012 as the Lead UX Developer. David led front-end development teams for online store launches in several countries and set standards for code quality. David also co-founded Raffstar in 2007 and worked as the Creative Director, overseeing art direction and production duties. Additionally, they had their own web design/development consulting venture called Perini Productions from 2002 to 2009, where they provided strategic planning and execution for web startups and small businesses.

David's earlier experiences include working as a Graphic Designer at Captiva Creative from 2005 to 2006, where they supervised web development and launched e-commerce storefronts, and as a Website Designer at Tantalis Technologies from 2000 to 2002, where they executed web development projects for various clients.

David Perini has a diverse education history. David studied Drama, Television, and Film at Oral Roberts University until 2002. After that, they attended Atlantic Cape Community College from 2003 to 2004, where they pursued General Studies. Later, they enrolled at Stockton University and focused on Business Marketing until 2005. In addition to their formal education, David Perini obtained a certification from the ASU GSV Summit in April 2016.
