John Tiernan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in investment and business incubation. Currently, John serves as a Partner at Red Cell Partners since July 2019, focusing on technology-led businesses in healthcare and defense. In addition, John co-founded Fantera in March 2022, aimed at enhancing fan ownership and engagement in global football. Prior experience includes an Associate role at The Carlyle Group from July 2015 to July 2017, where John executed private equity transactions and supported C-suite executives with investment evaluations and strategy. Earlier, John's career began at Citi as an Analyst from June 2012 to June 2015, working on M&A and financing transactions in the tech, media, and telecom sectors. John holds an MBA in Finance and Business Economics & Public Policy from The Wharton School (2017-2019) and a BA in Economics from Brown University (2008-2012).
