Hamad Zawawi is an accomplished technical professional with extensive experience in software compliance, product management, and web technologies. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at AMD since July 2022, Zawawi focuses on Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) compliance. Concurrently, Zawawi holds a part-time professor position at Conestoga College, teaching web technologies since January 2019. Prior experience includes a long tenure at SAP from January 2012 to July 2022, where Zawawi worked as a Senior Product Manager driving multi-cloud product initiatives and as a Senior Developer in Software Compliance, emphasizing research and innovation. Additional roles include faculty positions at BCIT, PHP development at Norwester Independent Media, and web services development at QuickMobile. Zawawi’s academic credentials include a Master's degree in Software Systems from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications from NED University of Engineering and Technology.
