Samuel Bernier is an experienced game designer and level design director, currently serving as the Level Design Director at Red Barrels since January 2020, contributing to the project "The Outlast Trials." Prior to this role, Samuel held the position of Senior Level Designer for the same project. Samuel's previous experience includes a tenure as Senior Level Designer at Ubisoft Montréal, where contributions were made to "Far Cry 6," and as Senior Game Designer at Borealys Games Inc, with involvement in "Mages of Mystralia." Earlier in their career, Samuel worked at Gameloft for seven years in various roles, including Game Designer for "Siegefall" and "Modern Combat Versus," as well as Lead Level Designer for "Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation" and "Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour." Samuel holds a degree from Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue and earlier education from Cegep de l'abitibi-Témiscamingue.
