Anders Hansson has an extensive work experience spanning over several industries. Anders started their career in 1991 with the Royal Swedish Air Force, completing their military service. From 1996 to 1997, they worked as a Software Engineer at Mycronic, where they programmed rasterization algorithms and installed Unix systems at mask shops internationally.
In 2003, Anders joined Los Alamos National Laboratory as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and later served as a Member of Technical Staff. Anders led a team of scientists and software developers as the Team Leader for the National Infrastructure Simulation and Analysis Center. During this time, they provided expert knowledge to the Executive Office of the President of the United States and the White House Situation Room.
Anders joined Ericsson in 2008 as a Senior Research Engineer, where they designed algorithms deployed to telecommunications networks in over 100 countries. In 2016, they transitioned to Combitech Sverige, working as a Data Scientist and developing scalable tools for data mining Ericsson's telecommunications data.
In 2017, Anders became a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at ZENUITY, analyzing and modeling massive sensor data to support the development of autonomous cars. Anders also played a crucial role in building and maintaining HD maps based on the crowdsourcing model. In 2020, they moved to Zenseact as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, continuing their work with autonomous cars, primarily serving Volvo Cars as a customer.
Most recently, in 2021, Anders joined Recorded Future as the Lead Machine Learning Scientist, contributing their expertise in machine learning to the company. Overall, Anders Hansson has shown a strong track record of expertise in machine learning, data science, and software engineering throughout their career.
Anders Hansson has a strong educational background in information theory, with a focus in electrical and electronics engineering. In 1992, they obtained their Bachelor's degree from Chalmers University of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Anders then pursued further studies and earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree from the same institution in 1996.
Continuing their academic journey, Anders obtained a Licentiate degree in Information Theory from Chalmers University of Technology from 1998 to 2000. Anders then expanded their knowledge by completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Information Theory from Chalmers University of Technology between 2001 and 2003.
In addition to their educational achievements, Anders acquired a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance in May 2011.
