Raghu Raman S. started their work experience as a Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Science in 2010. Raghu Raman then worked as a Research Assistant in the Power Electronics Group at the same institute from 2012 to 2014. After that, they joined The Hong Kong Polytechnic University where they held various roles including Research Assistant, Research Student, Research Associate, and Postdoctoral Fellow from 2014 to 2020. In 2019, Raghu became the Co-founder and CEO of RC Labs, a company focused on intelligent battery management systems for electric vehicles and stationary energy storage.

Raghu Raman S. pursued their education with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University. Raghu Raman attended this institution from 2008 to 2012. Later on, from 2014 to 2018, they studied at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Power Electronics.
