Jason Berry

Director Energy & Utilities at TeraWatt Infrastructure

Jason Berry has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Jason started their career in 2006 as the State Energy Program Manager for the State of Utah, where they led the development and implementation of emerging technology programs for the clean energy sector. Jason then joined PacifiCorp/Rocky Mountain Power as the Residential Energy Efficiency Program Manager from 2010 to 2014.

In 2014, Jason joined the Vermont Energy Investment Corporation as the Programs and Implementation Director, where they directed Efficiency Vermont's program operations team and budget. Jason later moved to Willdan Energy Solutions in 2016 as the Principal Program Manager, leading the development of a new business unit providing clean energy engineering and program services.

In 2018, Jason joined Amazon as a Senior Business Development Manager for a new products and initiatives team in Amazon Devices. In this role, they led new technology assessments, negotiated partnerships and licensing agreements, and managed a project management team for testing initiatives. Jason then moved to Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2021 as the Worldwide Industry Operations Leader for the Power & Utilities Business Development team, focusing on decarbonization and sustainability efforts.

Most recently, in 2021, Jason joined Amazon Logistics as a Senior Business Development Manager for Power & Energy Solutions. Here, they were responsible for ensuring EV projects within Amazon's North American portfolio of last-mile delivery stations had reliable power supply and negotiated utility agreements and rates.

Currently, Jason works at TeraWatt Infrastructure since 2022 as the Director of Energy & Utilities.

Jason Berry obtained their Masters of Public Administration in Energy Management & Policy from the University of Utah between 2000 and 2006. In addition, they obtained a certification in Utility Management and Leadership from Willamette University, Atkinson Graduate School of Business in September 2011.
