Chris Beck

Platform Architect at Razer

Chris Beck is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software architecture and engineering. Currently serving as a Platform Architect at Razer Inc. since December 2015, Chris has focused on creating reusable Kubernetes platform abstractions. Previously, Chris held roles including Software Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer at Razer, where responsibilities included managing server and site reliability engineering teams and building cloud services. Chris co-founded Directra, serving as Software Architect from 2005 to 2015, specializing in branding communications through digital channels. Earlier career roles included CTO at Intelli-Flex, where Chris developed VoIP technologies, and an Entrepreneur In Residence at Crosspoint Venture Partners. Chris began a career in software architecture at Genesys, innovating a multimedia routing platform, and co-founded Forte, Inc. as VP of Software Development, contributing to solutions for carrier-grade telephony. Educational accomplishments include post-graduate studies in computer science at UC San Diego and a BA in Information Systems from California State University, Fullerton.
