Greg Kress, Ph.D. has held a variety of roles in the technology and educational sectors since 2009. From 2009-2011, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Stanford University, a Visiting Lecturer at Aalto University, and a Design Engineering Consultant at Luidia. In 2011, they were a Design Research Consultant at IMVU. From 2012-2016, they were the Founder & CEO of Radicand, Inc. and the Co-Founder & CEO of Pearl. From 2013-2015, they were the Executive Director of ME310 Design Innovation at Stanford University. From 2016-2018, they were a Venture Partner and Senior Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund. Since 2019, they have been the Founder & CEO of Imagia.

Greg Kress, Ph.D. received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University in 2012. Prior to that, they received their M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University in 2009. Greg also obtained their B.S.E. in Engineering Physics (Summa cum Laude) from the University of Michigan in 2006.
