Melissa Wood has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Melissa currently works at Quorum as a Product Manager - Data, where they utilize their legislative and technical expertise to identify innovative solutions and workarounds, consistently achieving high user satisfaction rates. Melissa also led the onboarding program, teaching over 50 team members how to use Quorum's product. Prior to Quorum, Melissa worked at Hannah News Service as an intern and at the University of South Carolina Career Center as a Career Assistant. Melissa also had internship roles at Push Digital Inc., National Academy of Public Administration, and the City of Columbia SC.

Melissa Wood obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of South Carolina, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Prior to their university education, Melissa attended University High School from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Melissa has also obtained certifications in Data Analytics from BrainStation in July 2022, as well as certifications in "Ask Questions to Make Data-Driven Decisions" and "Foundations: Data, Data, Everywhere" from Coursera in April 2022.
