Tom Shaughnessy has extensive work experience in the field of market research and strategy. Tom started their career in 1989 as a Study Director at Bruskin Goldring, where they worked until 1992. Tom then joined The NPD Group as an Account Manager and remained with the company until 2002. From 2003 to 2006, they served as a Senior Project Director at Synovate. In 2006, they joined MarketTools as a Senior Research Manager and held the position until 2015. During their tenure at MarketTools, they also took on additional responsibilities as a Senior Director of Insights & Strategy and Senior Research Director at Quester Strategy and Insights, starting in 2015.
Tom Shaughnessy earned a Master of Science degree in Advertising from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 1983 to 1988.
