Andy Holt is an IT Operations Specialist with a strong background in Linux and cloud infrastructure, currently employed at SKA Observatory since April 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a DevOps Engineer at Bosch Automotive Service Solutions Ltd, focusing on AWS and Linux infrastructure design and management, and as a Linux Infrastructure Specialist at Geometric Results, Inc., where responsibilities included management and support of AWS and Linux systems. Earlier positions held by Andy include Linux Support Engineer at UKFast, Linux Consultant at Bashton Ltd, and Senior Technical Support Consultant at Critical Path, among others, culminating in a comprehensive technical career that began as a Software Engineer at ICL. Andy Holt earned a BSc in Computer Studies from Loughborough University from 1985 to 1989.
