Job description

The Manager/Sr Manager of Supply Chain manages the flow of goods, resources, and information required by the supply chain to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. They are responsible for inventory management, distribution, and logistics with strategies to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve operational goals. They are responsible for leading coordination activities with procurement production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions to optimize the supply chain and meet customer delivery expectations. Resolves bottlenecks or problem areas in the supply chain including global and local delivery/logistics challenges, inventory management and control.

As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be:ÌýÌý

  • Lead distribution and logistics for QSI including supporting the commercial team on-board new territories and customers, manage logistics providers, ensure timely shipments, and pro-actively resolve any delivery issues.
  • Responsible for the performance of third-party logistics partners.
  • Manage inventory distribution and accuracy to ensure timely internal and accurate distribution of materials.
  • Utilize and improve ERP system for Inventory management & accuracy.
  • Lead and implement best practices around inventory close including cycle count, reconciliation, inventory and E&O processes and analysis.
  • Participate and lead portions of S&OP processes.
  • Improve business practices to reduce inventory variance and improve cycle times, lead times.Ìý
  • Lead coordination of shipping and distribution of commercial sales activities domestically and internationally, including addressing logistics of import / export, VAT and customs.Ìý
  • May require up to 10% time spent on assisting and receiving packages and shipmentsÌý
  • Other duties as assigned.Ìý

Qualifications

Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:Ìý

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Supply Chain, Business or related fieldÌý
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a demand planning, forecasting, supply planning roleÌý
  • Experiencing with logistics, warehousing and distribution, including international import/export
  • Ability to work with large datasets and develop analytic modelsÌý
  • Strong understanding of inventory and cost accounting
  • Strong communication skillsÌýand ability to present to executive audience
  • Detail oriented and well organizedÌý
  • Strong experience in ERP and MRP systems; NetSuite preferredÌý
  • Strong experience using Excel or Google sheetsÌýÌý

Ideally, you also have these skills/experiences/attributes (but it’s ok if you don’t!):Ìý

  • Experience improving and implementing new processes, especially in ERP systemsÌýÌý
  • Working in life science/biotech industry with experience with chemical manufacturing processing to semiconductor and instrumentation

The estimated base salary range for this role based in the United States of America is: $140,000-$150,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, level of the position,Ìý an individual’s skills, knowledge and abilities, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all full-time employees are eligible for our discretionary bonus program and equity as part of the compensation package.
