Position: Human Resources Business Partner
Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid)
Overview:
As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will partner with leaders across the organization to understand business priorities and ensure people strategy alignment. The HRBP provides consultation and direction on all HR aspects, ensuring alignment with the Silicon Ranch Values and Core Competencies to create a high performing culture and improve organizational success.
This role also works closely with the Director of People Operations to deploy best practice strategies in the areas of employee development, organizational effectiveness, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement and retention. This hands-on position will provide guidance to leaders on employment law, policy application, retention, performance management, change management, and engagement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will provide proactive human resources support, build strong relationships with teams, and deliver sound advice and coaching to leaders taking into consideration local, state, and federal employment law.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide best-in-class HR support
- Provide support to managers and leaders in handling all human resource related activities
- Active listening and desire to comprehensively understand the critical needs of each functional unit
- Educate leaders on HR resources, processes, and tools regarding change management and the interpretation of policies and procedures.
- Provide counsel to management, and on occasions to employees, to maintain a productive and positive work environment, including developing employee engagement strategies, development planning, and coaching.
- Partner with HR leadership to conduct timely investigations, coach and advise leaders, and resolve issues and concerns.
- Partner with leaders on workforce planning activities.
- Support organizational effectiveness activities and ensure the strategy, capabilities, structure, roles and responsibilities enable the functions to deliver on strategic goals.
- Facilitate leadership talent reviews using succession planning and performance and potential development tools.
- Partner with HR leadership to educate leaders on compensation strategies and support leaders with executing effective compensation processes.
- Support leaders with leadership development and organizational effectiveness.
Performance Management
- Consult with and advise leadership to facilitate employee success through effective coaching.
- Educate managers on SMART goals, regularly assessing employee’s goals for relevancy and progress, and successful completion of the formal performance review process.
- Resolve employee performance issues to ensure appropriate corrective action steps are taken, including coaching, verbal and written warnings (corrective action) and Performance Improvement Plans.
Policy Management
- Assist with the creation, management, and communication of company policy
- Help leaders understand our policies and how to best communicate them with our employees when appropriate
- Answer company policy questions from both leaders and employees

Qualifications:
Basic
- High school degree or equivalent
- 2+ years of HRBP experience
- HRIS experience
- MS Office experience
