Patrick Thomas has seven years of work experience. Patrick began their career in 2010 as a Sales Associate for Johnston & Murphy. In 2014, they held dual roles as an IT Helpdesk Specialist for Middleburg Bank and a Dispatch Engineer for NTConnections. From 2015 to 2017, Patrick was a Proprietary Systems Specialist II for CACI International Inc. Patrick then worked as a FEMA Internet Help Desk for Agensys Corporation from 2017 to 2019. Patrick is currently employed as a FEMA Enterprise Service Desk Technical Support Engineer for Applied Computing Technologies, a position they have held since 2019. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Splunk Engineer for Qmulos.

Patrick Thomas completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Mathematics and Statistics from Radford University between 2007 and 2010. Patrick has also obtained multiple certifications from Qmulos and Splunk, including Certified Q-Audit Deployment, Certified Q-Audit End User, Certified Q-Compliance Deployment, Certified Q-Compliance End User, Splunk Core Certified Consultant, Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin, Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect, Splunk Enterprise Security Certified Admin, Splunk Core Certified Power User, and Splunk Core Certified User.
