Jae Yang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in design and research. Currently serving as Regional Distributor for Qeeboo in the Republic of Korea since January 2023, Jae has also founded Maison Plante in May 2022 and serves as Creative Director at Umzikim Inc., a position held since January 2022. In addition, Jae has been an Adjunct Researcher at Seoul National University since October 2018, previously holding the role of Researcher. Jae co-founded Umzikim Inc. in March 2011, overseeing operations until October 2018. Early career involvement includes a design internship at Samsung Electronics Italia in early 2011, focusing on CMF Trend Research. Jae holds a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering with a concentration in Human Interface Systems and Affective Design Engineering from Seoul National University and pursued a PhD in the same field before discontinuing the program. A Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering with an Integrated Creative Design concentration was earned from the same institution.
