Frederick Gibbs is a Research Engineer currently employed at QED Naval Ltd and IDCORE, specializing in offshore renewable energy, with a focus on resource assessment, structures, and environmental considerations while pursuing an Engineering Doctorate (EngD). Previous experience includes a Summer Research Student position at the University of St Andrews, where Frederick developed a FMCW radar simulation to address radar noise issues, and internships at Leonardo, where research and simulations for radar design were conducted using MATLAB.
