Jeremy Arkin is an experienced Spatial Wildfire Analyst at Pyrologix, beginning in September 2024. Prior to this, Jeremy served as a Remote Sensing Specialist at Forsite Consultants, focusing on GIS and remote sensing tasks to develop wildfire risk mitigation plans for clients across Western Canada. Academic background includes a PhD in Forestry from The University of British Columbia and dual bachelor's degrees in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the University of Colorado Boulder. Previous roles encompass various positions in forestry and GIS, including a seasonal technician role at Colorado Parks & Wildlife and extensive research experience as a graduate and undergraduate researcher.
