Muhammad Shah began their work experience as a Retail Sales Merchandiser at Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution from December 2016 to December 2018. Muhammad then joined Canadian Hospital Specialties Ltd. as a Manufacturing Operations employee from May 2020 to August 2020, where they monitored production, formulated lean projects, and provided support on inventory tracking and project management. After that, they worked at Coltech Design Systems as a Mechanical Designer/Builder from August 2020 to April 2021, where they focused on product development, manufacturing, building, and TIG welding of automation systems. Muhammad then joined AK Tool & Die Ltd. as a Mechanical/Manufacturing Designer from April 2021 to December 2021, collaborating with project managers, designing mechanical ergonomic tools, and coordinating team meetings. Muhammad also volunteered as a Technical Engineering Volunteer at Tetra Society of North America from July 2021 to December 2022. In 2022, Muhammad worked as a Project Coordinator - Nuclear at Candu Energy - Member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, where they coordinated engineering document reviews and vendor documentation reviews for a refurbishment project. Muhammad Shah is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering at McMaster University from 2021 to 2023.
Prior to that, they completed an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology - Industrial Design at Seneca College, finishing in 2021. During their time at Seneca College, they also pursued additional studies in 3D Printing and Part Design at Centennial College.
Muhammad holds an Ontario College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technician (Tool Design) from Seneca College. Muhammad also has an Ontario College Certificate in Mechanical Techniques (Tool & Die/Mould Making) from the same institution.
Before their college studies, Muhammad completed their high school education at Lester B. Pearson C.I, earning a High School Diploma in an unspecified field of study.
In addition to their formal education, Muhammad has earned several certifications. Muhammad obtained the CSWA Mechanical Design certification from Dassault Systèmes in June 2021. Muhammad also became an Associate Member of both the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) in May and March 2021, respectively.
