Michael Griffin is an experienced educator and coach currently serving as a 6th Grade Science Teacher at Public Preparatory Network since August 2023. Previously, at LION Charter School, Griffin held multiple roles including Head Boy’s Lacrosse Coach, where achievements included securing 13th, 4th, and 3rd place finishes in the NYC MSAL during various seasons and raising over $11,000 for the 2023 season. As the Middle School Athletics Coordinator, Griffin founded an athletics program that expanded to 8 teams serving over 100 students. Additionally, Griffin has experience as a FIRST Lego League Robotics Coach, preparing middle school students for city-wide competitions, and served as a Middle School Science Teacher in an ICT setting from 2018 to 2023. Education credentials include a Master of Education from Bank Street College of Education and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan.
