Rachel Schwartz

Senior Director of Maternal Child Health at Public Health Solutions

Rachel Schwartz is the Senior Director of Maternal Child Health at Public Health Solutions. Rachel has over ten years of experience working in public health, with a focus on maternal and child health. Rachel has a strong background in program evaluation and data analysis, and has used this skillset to evaluate the impact of community-based participatory research/lay health worker models on the prevention of Metabolic Syndrome in the Rachel'spanic population. Rachel is also a former Program Manager for the Breastfeeding Coalition of WA, WithinReach, where they led efforts to increase breastfeeding rates and influence policy changes to promote breastfeeding in Washington State. In their role as Senior Director at Public Health Solutions, Rachel is responsible for overseeing all maternal and child health programs, including developing new programs, evaluating existing programs, and providing technical assistance to other public health organizations.

Rachel Schwartz's educational career includes obtaining a RN to BSN from CUNY School of Professional Studies, an Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS from LaGuardia Community College, an MPH from University of Washington, an MSW from University of Washington, and a BA from Warren Wilson College.
