Brittany Van Pelt, M.A., is a seasoned communication and advocacy professional with extensive experience in child care policy and political engagement. Currently serving as Senior Specialist for Advocacy at Child Care Aware of America, Brittany develops digital content and contributes to advocacy campaigns. Previous roles include WeLead Fellow at American University, Ignite Change Fellow with EMILY's List, and Senior Digital Communications Associate at Patriotic Millionaires. Brittany has also held positions focused on policy communications at the National WIC Association and various internship roles in political campaigns and media organizations. Brittany holds a Master of Arts in Political Communication from American University and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
