Penelope Kinch, PhD, currently serves as Senior Director of Group Security and Resilience at Prudential plc since July 2023. Prior to this, Penelope held various leadership positions at CARE from August 2014 to August 2023, including Director of Operational Security, where responsibilities encompassed global crisis and incident management, business continuity, policy development, and technical leadership. Earlier roles at CARE included Deputy Director Operations for both the MENA and Asia regions, as well as Special Projects and Response Manager, contributing to security capacity-building and crisis response. Penelope's career began with the International SOS and Control Risks, serving as Regional Information Manager for the MENA region. Penelope Kinch holds a PhD in International Relations and Affairs from The Australian National University and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in History from the University of New England, Australia.
