Ari Robicsek is chief medical analytics officer and senior vice president of research at Providence. He is responsible for leading clinical and operational analytics as well as clinical research, enabling Providence to innovate and improve patient care.
Prior to joining Providence, Dr. Robicsek served in several leadership roles at NorthShore University HealthSystem. His research on clinical practice variation and epidemiological analytics has been published in numerous journals, including JAMA, Annals of Internal Medicine, The Lancet Infectious Diseases and Nature Medicine. He has lectured widely on measurement in health care, co-chaired Epic’s Research Advisory Council and Data Scientist Forums, and is a Senior Fellow of the Health Research and Educational Trust. He has mentored University of Chicago fellows in research informatics and co-leads a seminar on analytics for the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Dr. Robicsek studied medicine at the University of Toronto and infectious diseases at Harvard Medical School.
