Ian Kirby, CPA, currently serves as the Director of Finance at Proveo, responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial planning, budgeting, analysis, and reporting to facilitate strategic decision-making. Prior to this role, Ian held the position of Corporate Controller at Mill Creek Sand & Gravel (1980) Ltd., where the focus was on modernizing back office systems. Experience also includes a role as Specialist in Enterprise Tax at KPMG Canada, providing a range of tax services, and as a Staff Accountant at Pennock Acheson Nielsen Devaney LLP, delivering audit and assurance services. Earlier roles include consulting for Flock Audio Inc. on financial strategy, as well as various coordination positions at Suncor Energy and logistics responsibilities at FT Services. Ian holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from MacEwan University and a Project Management Certificate from Keyano College.
