Marcelo Presser has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Marcelo currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at The Resurrection Project since 2024. Prior to that, they served as the Chief of Finance & Strategic Analysis at Heartland Alliance from 2018 to 2023. Marcelo also has experience in economic development and strategy as the Vice President at The Resurrection Project from 2013 to 2017. Marcelo has held various finance roles at McKinsey & Company, Cotter Consulting, Inc., Sun-Times News Group, HBO, and Time Inc. Marcelo started their career as a Volunteer at the Peace Corps from 1991 to 1994.
Marcelo Presser obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and Political Science from Emory University in the years 1987-1991. Subsequently, from 1995 to 1997, Presser pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance at The Wharton School. During the same period, they also obtained a Master's degree in International Studies from The Lauder Institute - University of Pennsylvania.
