Juan Benet is the Founder and CEO of Protocol Labs, where responsibilities include engineering innovative protocols and services, notably the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS), to create the Distributed, Permanent Web. Previous experience includes founding Athena, supporting tech startups as an Entrepreneur in Residence at StartX, co-founding and serving as CTO at Loki Studios, and conducting research at Stanford University under prominent professors. Educational credentials include a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.
