Rick Walters is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in various leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as a Senior Full-Stack Software Developer at Balance since May 2024, Rick previously held significant positions such as Vice President of Engineering and Head of Software Engineering at Shearwater Aerospace. From 2015 to 2022, Rick was a Managing Principal at Capco, and earlier roles include Front End Lead at CIBC and iOS Developer at RBC. Rick's career also features a strong foundation in web development, with notable contributions as a Web Architect/Lead Developer at Lifesaving Society Ontario and an Independent multimedia/applications/web developer from 1993 to 2015.
