Michael Dwinell is an accomplished immunologist and professor currently serving as the Director of the Center for Immunology and the Bobbie Nick Voss Laboratory for Cancer Research at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dwinell also leads the Gastrointestinal & Nutritional Pathophysiology Unit at the MCW School of Medicine and holds the position of Vice President at Protein Foundry, LLC, a biotech venture focused on manufacturing recombinant proteins for biomedical research. Prior experience includes work as an Assistant Research Immunologist at UC San Diego, concentrating on the cellular mechanisms of intestinal inflammation. Dwinell's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Pathophysiology and postdoctoral training in Mucosal Immunology from UC San Diego School of Medicine, alongside a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Pathophysiology and Zoology, respectively, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
