Miss V. is an experienced education professional with a diverse background in policy analysis, community partnership, and program coordination. Currently serving at the Maryland State Department of Education since June 2022, Miss V. has also held various roles within the California Community Colleges as a Policy Analyst and Educator Partner since August 2011. Additional contributions include partnerships with organizations such as MADE IN THE STREETS, Administration for Children and Families, and the National Association of Women Judges. Miss V. has experience in program analysis from a prior position at the District of Columbia Short Term Family Housing. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Social Entrepreneurship and Change from Pepperdine University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from San Diego State University, and an Associate’s Degree in Mathematics and Science from Cuyamaca College.
