Ortal G. serves as the Director of Software Engineering at Blue Bite since August 2022, contributing to the Markem-Imaje global engineering leadership team and focusing on process improvement to enhance software development efficiency and product quality. With extensive experience as a full stack engineer and Managing Software Engineer at Prolifogy Software & Consulting since December 2013, Ortal has successfully rebuilt company infrastructure and managed various projects. Previous roles include Engineering Manager at Great Expectations, where orchestration of product development occurred, and Advanced Software Development Engineer at Aetna, following a promotion during the company's acquisition by CVS Health. With a career beginning in web design and marketing communications, Ortal has developed a robust skill set in user experience and software engineering across multiple organizations, all underpinned by academic qualifications in business administration and computer science from Sacred Heart University and an MBA from Western Connecticut State University.
